CONGRATULATIONS TO DR. JOHN S. ERICKSON:
Saint Timothy Lutheran Seminary has honored its host pastor (in Chetek WI) and the
chairman of the LMS – USA by granting the Honorary Degree of Doctor of Divinity at the
Annual Synodical Conference worship service on June 21, 2009. His certificate states that “He
has sought out and promoted the best of faithful Lutheran Theology and Doctrine. Awarded in
recognition of his outstanding contributions to the Church as a Pastor and Educator, co-founder
of the Lutheran Ministerium and Synod – USA, Chairman of the Synod, Vice-President of the
Ministerium, and Editor of the Table Talk newsletter; and in recognition of his twenty-sixth year
as an ordained Servant of the Word.” We are honored to have Dr. Erickson so honored!
